Public holidays (PH) are considered as a work day.
Staff has Basic Pay of $2300
No. of days worked = 10 (9 + 1 PH)
Total Number of working days = 23 (22 + 1 PH)
The salary he would receive = (10/23) X 2300
However, if you wish to make an adjustment to the staff’s pay, you can do so manually under the Employee Pay information page. (refer to related link)
Disable ‘Prorated’ and enter the amount accordingly.
*Note: If the staff joins after a public holiday, he is not entitled to that day of work, even though a public holiday is considered a working day.
