I want to allow a staff to use the mobile app, but he does not need to use the Timeclock module. How can I ensure that he will not receive any email notifications asking him to clock in each day?

As long as the user is not a Timeclock User. He can still use Mobile App for Leave application and Payroll. To un-assign him as a timeclock user, go to Timeclock Setup > Timeclock Users.

Remove/ Untick this user as a Timeclock User. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit" to save the setting.
