In this article, we will go through the different options in setting up the leave approval.
The steps to set up the leave approval are:
Step 1: Click on

Step 4: Scroll down and click on
Step 5: Indicate if your company needs a Recommending Officer. Recommending Officer is the one that recommends the leave but is not the final approving person of the leave.
Step 6: Select one option in which the RO/AO will be assigned in the company (the different options are discussed in more detail in Configuration - RO/AO Admin)
Step 7: Decide whether to allow the AO/RO to view staff leave details.
Step 8: Set whether the AO/RO can apply for a leave on behalf of the staff.
Step 9: Set whether the AO/RO can cancel leave on behalf of staff.
Step 10: Set whether the Leave Administrator receives an email if the leave information of the user such as Entitlement or Balances are changed
Step 11: Set if you wish to receive an email notification for every annual leave approved?
Step 12: Choose whether you allow AO/RO to approve leave applications via email.
Step 13: Set the number of days an AO/RO will receive reminders of leaves they have yet to action on. Note that the system will send to them 1 reminder per day per applicant.
