If you need to enter historical benefit claims data into JustLogin, you can do so in two ways:
(1) a bulk import using a file template, or
(2) a manual adjustment for one-off entries. This article walks you through both methods.
Method 1: Bulk Import Using a File
Use this method when you have multiple historical claims records to upload at once. This is uploading the detailed records of the claims they've submitted from the past months.
- Navigate to the Import feature. Go to Benefit > Administration > Import Benefit Records.
- Select the correct tab. Choose the Claims tab to import individual benefit claims (i.e., historical claims records). A separate Categories tab is available if you need to import benefit categories instead.
Download the template. Click Download Template to get the required import file format.
Fill in your data. Populate the downloaded template with your historical claims data, then save the completed file to your computer.
- Upload the file. Drag and drop your completed file into the Upload File area (the dotted box on the page).
Import the records. Click Import to add the records into the system.
Once successfully imported, you should see this status page.
Then, you can cross-check the balance using the Benefit Reports, either the Benefit Summary report of Benefit Status report.
Important Note: Ensure your data strictly follows the format provided in the downloaded template. Incorrect formatting may cause the import to fail. Also, you don't need to put a negative sign on the claim amount, just enter directly the claim amount.
Method 2: Manual Adjustment for One-Off Entries
If you only need to record a single adjustment rather than perform a bulk upload, use the Benefit Adjustments feature instead. Please note that Adjustment method will deduct or add the lumpsum amount, rather than uploading the individual claim amounts.
- Navigate to Adjustments. Go to Benefit > Administration > Adjustments.
Fill in the adjustment details. Select the relevant year, benefit category, employee(s), amount, and effectivity date.
Important Note: For deductions, add minus symbol (-) before the amount.
- Save the adjustment. Click Save to record the entry.
- Review past adjustments. Previously saved adjustments can be viewed under the History tab within the same Adjustments page.
