If you want to enable a second layer of security when releasing the payslips to your staff via email, you can enable this option so that the staff will need to input their Payslip PIN before accessing the PDF copy of their payslip.
Steps how to enable Payslip PIN:
- Check if the option to release payslip via email is enabled.

Step 4: Make sure that the Notify employees (email & mobile notification) upon payrun approval and after payslip release date.
Once this feature is enabled, administrators can set up the Payslip PIN even before employees log in to their account. This is done during the initial employee data upload.
Steps on How Administrators can include the Payslip PIN when using the import function:
Steps how Admins can set up Payslip PIN during Import:
Step 1: Click the dropdown beside the admin name and select the User Admin menu.
Step 2: Go to the Enhanced Bulk Import tab.
Step 3: Download the blank template.
Step 4: Open the file and look for the column in the orange section called Payslip PIN.
Step 5: Enter a four-digit PIN for each employee.
📌 Note: Please note that the Payslip PIN must be unique for every employee.
Step 6: Save the file, go back to the Enhanced Bulk Import page, and drag or drop the file into the designated area.
Step 7: Click the Import button. .
Step 8: A confirmation window will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to import the details?” Click Yes.
Step 9: Wait for the confirmation. A success message will appear once the upload is completed.
When the payslip is released to the staff via their email, they will be prompted to enter the PIN they have input before they can view the contents.
📌 Note: This will only affect the payslips that will be released after PIN creation.
Steps how Employees can set up Payslip PIN:
This is an added security measure to protect the pay information when the payslip or tax document is viewed. When enabled, the payslip sent via email will also require for you to enter the PIN.
Note: Only the End User can set the Payroll PIN on their own account. Admins will not have access.
Setting Up Payroll PIN
Step 1: Login to your account. Click on your name from the left menu.
Step 2: Go to My Settings.
Step 3: Click on CHANGE PIN > Payslip Pin.
Step 4: Type in your PIN (which can contain numbers, letters and symbols) and click on Save Changes.
Resetting Payroll PIN
In the event that you have forgotten your Payroll PIN, you can use the following steps to reset it.
Note: This step will trigger an email, so the user must have an active email address in order for this to work.
Step 1: Go to Payroll > My Payslip. Click on Forgot your PIN.
Step 2: Click on the Reset button to proceed.
A pop-up message will confirm that an email had been sent to the user.
Step 3: The user needs to access their email and look for the system-generated email from Justlogin.
Step 4: Click on .
Step 5: The system will prompt the user to login to the account. Once logged in, the system will display this screen.
Step 6: Enter the PIN number twice and then click on the button. You should now be able to use your updated PIN.
