Expense | Integration: Connecting JustLogin Expense to Xero

Overview

JustLogin Expense can be integrated with Xero to automatically push approved expense reports to Xero as bills or purchases. This article covers the current integration setup process.

Prerequisites

  1. You must have a Xero account and Administrator access
  2. Your JustLogin user must have the Expense Integration Admin or Super Admin role
  3. Expense categories in JustLogin should be mapped to Xero account codes

Connecting to Xero

  1. Go to Expense in the left navigation bar
  2. Click Integration
  3. Click Connect to Xero
  4. You will be redirected to Xero's authorisation page — log in with your Xero credentials
  5. Grant JustLogin access to your Xero organisation
  6. You will be redirected back to JustLogin once authorised

Mapping Expense Categories to Xero Account Codes

  1. After connecting, the integration screen will display your Xero accounts
  2. For each JustLogin expense category, select the corresponding Xero account code from the dropdown
  3. Click Save Mapping

Syncing Approved Reports to Xero

  1. Once integration is active, approved and reimbursed expense reports are automatically queued for export to Xero
  2. To manually trigger a sync, click Export to Xero on the Integration screen
  3. Check the sync status in the export log
