IRAS Submission Through APEX (GovTech)

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech Singapore) has launched a project in collaboration with IRAS to provide a more convenient and secure way for employers to submit employment income records directly to IRAS.

What is APEX?

APEX (OSP) is a centralised data-sharing platform within the Singapore Government. It uses secure APIs to manage who can access data and how it is shared — removing the need to manually upload files through the IRAS myTax Portal.

Submitting through APEX follows the same steps as a normal IRAS submission, with one key difference at the authorization step (Step 9), where you must select the correct Corppass authorization profile.

Choosing the Right Authorization Profile

During submission, you will be prompted to select an authorization profile. Use the table below to identify the correct option for your role.

Option Who Should Select This
User or Third Party
  • Staff directly authorized by the employer under Assigned e-Services on Corppass to submit on the employer's behalf.
  • Tax agents authorized via Assigned Client e-Services on Corppass.
Tax Agent via Client e-Services Group Tax agents specifically authorized through the Client e-Services Group on Corppass.

Not sure which option applies to you? Refer to the APEX User Guide on the GovTech Developer Portal for detailed guidance on selecting and verifying authorization profiles on Corppass.
