Introduction
If you are encountering any of the errors below at the point of submitting the Attendance Record or the Timesheet or when changing the shift assignment of the staff, please follow the troubleshooting steps indicated in this article
- You are not allowed to change submitted timesheet data.
- You are not allowed to change approved records.
- You are not allowed to change transferred records
When you get any of these errors, the next thing to do is verify the Staff record.
Troubleshooting #1
You are not allowed to change submitted timesheet data.
This happens when you are at Attendance > Administration > Employee Timesheet and the dates you have picked to submit Staff’s Timesheet has already been submitted and approved.
Another indicator it has been approved, the data list is not editable and in gray.
Troubleshooting #2
You are not allowed to change approved records.
This is when you are at Attendance > Administration > Employee Timesheet and the dates you have picked to submit Staff’s Timesheet has already been submitted and approved previously before the Clocking Approval was changed from Enable approval by attendance administrator.
Troubleshooting #3
You are not allowed to change transferred records
This is when you are at Attendance > Manage Roster / Shift Setup page and changing the schedule of a Staff when the Timesheet has already been submitted and approved.
If changes need to be done when you encounter any of those errors, please contact your HR Administrator to unapprove the data.
