Methods of setting Profile photo / Reference photo

JustLogin Attendance can provide face recognition to help you detect if a different user logs in using another user’s account. This feature will alert the Admin via email of any suspected discrepancies in Attendance.

There are three methods to set up a staff profile photo, which also serves as the employee’s reference photo:

  1. Via Profile picture in User Admin page
  2. Via Attendance Module - Reference Photos
  3. Via Safeclock Configuration (only for those with Safeclock devices)

Method 1: Updating Profile picture in User Admin page

Configuration

Step 1: Click the drop-down beside your name.

Step 2: Click on 0002.png.

Step 3: Click on 0003.png. You should see a list of photos (up to 20), which were taken from the staff's clocking records. Uploading a saved photo can be done, as well.

Step 4: Select one picture you wish to use for the verification.

📌 Tip: We recommend selecting a photo taken through Attendance for more accurate comparison, rather than an uploaded one.

Step 5: Click on dfgdfgf.png.

Attendance Verification Alert

The AVA will perform a backend comparison between the employee’s profile photo and the captured image.

If any discrepancies are detected, the system will notify the administrator via email. The report will appear as shown below.

📝 Note: It’s recommended to select a photo taken using the same device your staff use for clock-ins, as this helps maintain consistent background, lighting, and angle for better accuracy.
Step 7: Once done, please click on dfgdfgf.png at the bottom of the page.
