Why are employees unable to edit their clock ins/outs even if it is set under Configurations that employees are allowed?


To make sure the admins are aware of what to check in order to allow our employees to edit their clocks if they are allowed.


First and foremost, admins must ensure that they have identified which setting will allow users to update their clock in or out.

Step 1: Login to the account

Step 2: Go to mceclip0.png

Step 3: Click on mceclip1.png

Step 4: Scroll down and look for mceclip2.png Make sure that the option to Allow employees to enter clock out time for the previous date is ticked


Step 5: Once done, go to mceclip5.png

Step 6: Make sure that the “Allow Edit” box is checked. 


The employees will then be able to go to their Dashboard and be able to edit the clock in/out data.

NOTE: If the clock-ins/outs are editable, the time will be in blue font.
