For multiple clock in/out - Do we deduct the employee's break time in their working hours?

If you have selected the ‘Multiple clock-in/out option on the system, the break time set should not be deducted from the actual worked hours of the employees.

Example:

Break time = 60 minutes

  •  If an employee works for 3 hours on the first set of clocking and 2.50 hours on their second  clocking, no break time will be deducted.
  •  If an employee works for 3 hours on their first set of clocking and 4.30 hours on second clocking, then 1 hour will be deducted on the second set of clocking
  •  If the employee works for 4.50 hours on the first set of clocking and 5.10 hours on the second clocking, then 1 hour will be deducted on the first set of clocking and another 1 hour will be deducted on the second set of clocking.

NOTE: The 60-minute break should not be deducted from the actual worked hours of the staff. As the system has already deducted automatically.
