How to Configure Leave?

The article below covers each step that's needed to be done to fully configure your Leave module. Click on the link provided to see the detailed guide for each step


Step 1: Set up your company's leave policies. This includes annual leave accrual policy, proration for new hires - Company Settings

Step 2: Decide on your staffs' policies, which covers probationary period, leave cancellations and more. - Staff Policy

Step 3: Indicate your approval policies. This is related to what leave approving officers can do - Approval Policies

Step 4: Configure other policies, including calendar sharing and rounding up policies - Other Policies

Step 5: Check Public Holidays - Public Holidays

Step 6: Define company's Leave Types - Leave Types

Step 7: Create leave grades which will be used by the system to calculate increments in your staffs' annual leave entitlements - Grade Setup

Step 8: Assign Approving (AO) and/or Recommending Officers (RO) - AO/RO Admin

Step 9: (Optional) Choose Department Administrators - Department Admin

Step 10: (Optional) Verify Leave users - Leave Users
