As a SuperAdmin, you have two options to reset an employee's password:
| Option | How it works | Best used when |
|---|---|---|
| Option 1 β Send a Reset Password Email | The employee receives an email with a secure link to set their own new password. | The employee has a valid, accessible email address. |
| Option 2 β Force Reset the Password Directly | You set a new password on behalf of the employee and communicate it to them separately. | The employee cannot access their email or needs immediate access. |
Note: Ensure the employee has a valid email address registered in the system before using Option 1, otherwise the reset link cannot be delivered. |
Option 1: Send a Reset Password Email
The employee will receive an email containing a secure link to set a new password themselves.
Important: The reset password link is valid for 30 minutes only. If the link expires, you will need to send another reset email, or the employee can reset it themselves β see the Forgot Password guide. |
