Part timers are not entitled to leave, what should I do to reflect the balance as 0?

NOTE: Manually adjusting of the Yearly Entitlement and Opening Balance columns are only applicable for accounts created prior to 20 June 2022.


For part-timers who are not entitled to any leave credits, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to the account

Step 2: Go to leave.png

Step 3: Click onadmin.png

Step 4: Go to the entitlement_and_details.png tab at the top

Step 5: Select the leave type. On the opening balance column, please input "0" for those staff who are not entitled to that particular leave type.


Step 6: Once done for all your part-timers, please click on update_blue.png


For newer accounts, an alternative option would be to create a Leave Grade with a 0 entitlement.

To create a new Leave grade, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to leave.png

Step 2: Click on configuration.png

Step 3: Click on grades_set_up.png

Step 4: Click on add_new_grade.png 

Step 5: Add the name of your Leave grade 31.png

Step 6: Set the entitlement to zero 32.png

Step 7: Assign the part time employees on this Leave Grade 33.png

Step 8: Click on save_blue.png
